Quantitative Analysis

Most organizations that are directly engaged in community-based activities collect data. Sometimes that data comes through direct interaction and sometimes it is acquired through authorized third parties (such as census data). Quantitative analysis give an organization a means by which it can observe and interpret what has happened, is happening, or might happen within their scope of operations. However, the skills required to properly analyze quantitative and qualitative data may not be resident in the organization, or the native skillset has become stale due to disuse. Therefore, TechServCo provides a full suite of quantitative analytical tools and resources. This covers tools such as SAS, SPSS, Matlab, Simulink, and others. We can provide the high level statistical analysis knowledge that your organization needs to completely and competently achieve your goals.

Our analysis toolbox also relies on qualitative analysis where ever it is appropriate. Whereas quantitative analysis deals with the what, where and when, qualitative analysis deals with the why and how. Both approaches have their merits and usefulness and will be leveraged as appropriate. Some degree of qualitative research is often used as a precursor for quantitative analysis, since before phenomena can be categorized and counted, the categories themselves must first be identified. But the bottom line is simple; when someone tells you to “do the math,” talk to us.
